If you coach, teach, or publish premium material, a paywall turns readers into paying members without a store, a plugin, or a developer. On Newsroom Floor your paper writes itself from sourced facts on your beat; you decide how many pieces are free and what the rest costs.
In Desk settings, open the Paywall card. Set a monthly price, a yearly price, or both, and how many pieces a reader gets free. Tick Turn the paywall on and save. That is the whole setup.
A reader opens a few pieces free, then meets a clean wall and picks a term at checkout, the same checkout your own plan uses. No account on your side, no password to manage. They can cancel themselves any time and keep access through the period they paid for.
The readers and the revenue are yours. Ninety cents of every subscription dollar is paid to you, as credits or cash. There is no revenue share beyond that and no per-reader fee.
Every piece stands on more than one source and carries a receipt a reader can check in their own browser. That is the difference between a paywall people pay for and one they resent: the writing is sourced, not filler.
